Air Conditioning problem
2002 Lincoln LS 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 61000 miles

My ac hisses when turned on, does not cool. at first it had a musty smell when I cranked the car, now better. I was told I needed the evaporator replaced and drains cleaned by the ford dealer, shopped it, and am now told that I need to replace evaporator, dryer and some kind of I think exchange valve???. not sure on that part. I called the Lincoln dealer and the tech there said it didn't sound right for the evaporator coil to leak, and I'm taking it there on Monday. Just need some more advice. Thanks
