Computer problem
2002 Honda Civic 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 40000 miles

I got a check engine light and went over to strauss auto... the technician said that he found the fuel cap loose, he tightened it and reset the computer.. the two codes disappeared, but came back after two days (after doing about 60 miles). Could they be possibly related? what is the best thing to do so as to fix this issue...

P1298 = Electrical Load Detector circuit high voltage. You need to check/test the ELD and its wiring circuit.

P1457 = Evap System Leaks. It could be the gas cap but more likely to be the canister or its connectioon that is leaking.
