Electrical problem

I have recently been blowing the frake light fuse. I unpluged the four harnesses going to the left and right light assenbly, the license plate lights and the trailer harness. Put in new fuse and touched the pedal and the fuse blew. Had a new switch, put it in and still blowing the fuse. Put the old switch back in and the fuse did not blow until about ten or so brake pedal depressions. I can put a new fuse in and push the pedal and the fuse might blow the first time and it might not. Any help would be appreciated.
