Engine Performance problem
2004 Ford Focus Front Wheel Drive Manual 48890 miles

I have a 2004 ford focus st170. the problem i have is from a standing start my car doesnt pull away like it should till it get to about 4000 rpm in 1st gear, i find that buses can pull of quicker than me. What can the problem be?
