2002 Ford Escort Vehicle not firing

Electrical problem
2002 Ford Escort 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 108000 miles

I have an escort that is not getting fire.I have replaced the crankshaft position sensor and the coil box. what else should i try??

first i have to know wheather you mean fire as it starting or fire as in having a spark.

check all cylinders. any spark?

there is no spark

It started off dying while sitting idle.It would crank back up.then it wouldn't stay running.now it won't even crank.My brother who is a mechanic says it is something to do with the computer.
