Engine Cooling problem
2002 Dodge Stratus 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 128000 miles

Original problem with transmission. Sometimes slipping into neutral when stopping. Brought to nationwide transmisssion repair place. Had rebuilt transmission and new torc converter. Picked up and car violently shaking in reverse. shaking in drive. Set up time to bring back. On way coolant came out, they showed us a hole in hose to radiator. Said hose was leaning on pulley and rubbing put hole in hose. Physically showed us and they took pictures. They replaced hose and said my water pump was now leaking at gasket, so I had water pump replaced. Picked up car, and was working great. Drove 15 min to work, and when I left work got about 2 min down the road and heavy smoke started coming out of tailpipe and car overheated. Had car towed back to repair place and was told my other hose blew off, they fixed it and I picked it up. Car temp gage went to the H so I had it towed back and was told it was the thermostat. Had that replaced and car temp gage went to the H again. They said they can't do anymore take it somewhere else. I went to their recommended mechanic and was told it was blown head gasket. Is the transmission place responsible? We never had overheating issues prior to this.
