2002 Dodge Ram missing

Engine Performance problem
2002 Dodge Ram V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 86000 miles

When I let my truck sit for a couple of days and then crank it or sometimes overnight and I crank it the next time it is missing but then it seems to fix it self what would be my problem.

use a better quality oil next oil change
possible lifter leaking
or an injector
