The switch to adjust the fan speed inside the car only works in the 4 or highest setting. When set to either 1, 2 or 3 there is no response. Doesn't matter if heat or air.
replace the blower motor resister. this is the problem, they burn out the lower settings. the new part is updated and built stronger, its held in by 2 screws and is located near blower motor in the heater box
