Computer problem
2002 Buick Rendezvous 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 90000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
Ok two years ago, my battery died, so we replaced it. After replacing it, my p/w, p/l, heated seats, and my dashboard would all flash and make a clicking noise (kinda like the locking sound) Took into 2 dealers, they had NO idea what was the problem. So I drove it to an autozone to have them check the alternator, they said it was fine. So I started the car..and everything was perfect! Two years later, battery dead AGAIN...and guess what....SAME problems after replacing the battery! Any help would be great!

So then riddle me this, how come after driving my car for a bit. Now everything is fine? I cant help but wonder that this is buicks way of getting people to come in and get money from them. When all that needs to be done is a computer reset after replacing the battery. This is the second time this happened to me. And the first time, we thought something was seriously wrong, we paid 2 different dealers to do a DX on my car and BOTH didnt know what was wrong. So to those of you out there having the problem....just drive! It should just reset itself.

just dont understand how a bad BCM could not work for about 50 miles of driving and then just all of a sudden work. I mean is that HONESTLY possible? Seems to me that if it were the problem it would always be a problem. And not just when the battery is replaced.

Yes, it is possible for a BCM to quit working and start working again. If you don't want to take advise from a professional, that's your choice. Just don't be slamming us on the replies.
