Transmission problem
2002 BMW X5 V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 50000 miles

The above vehicle was involved in a front end impact.
After repairs were carried out the tansmission does not shift. The engine starts well and has no problems. Both engine and trans. were removed during course of repairs.
There is no power to the transmission connector.
All control units including that of the transmission have been checked. The power supply fuses have been checked as well.
We lack a wiring diagram for engine as well as transmission to do further checks.

I am unclear as to what you have done so far. How was the check of the control modules performed? Was the wiring harness inspected? Wrecked cars can be a real can of worms.
