Steering problem
2002 BMW 530 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 94000 miles

Today i changed the steering rack for my 2002 bmw 530i. After I left my mechanic's shop, the yellow light for stability comes up and stays. I tried to ask my mechanic but it seems he doesn't know the answer. Do you think if I will take my car for aligment will makes this yellow light to go away. Also I got the yellow break light and the ABS light on for a while, then they gone. . Please advice and many thanks for your help.

You will need to realign the steering angle sensor. It requires proprietary software either from the dealer or from an independent BMW shop that has a GT-1 or autologic software.
