I CANT GET MY CAR INTO GEAR, YESTERDAY IT SLIPED TOTALLY OUT OF GEAR AND I HAD A JOB GETTING IT BACK IN TO GEAR. AFTER THAT I DROVE FOR 20 MILES OR SO AND NO PROBLEMS, THIS MORNING CANT GET IT IN TO GEAR AT ALL. |

hi there, its a manual transmission, allso yesterday i was told to pump the clutch 10-15 times whilst the engine was running. i was then after this able to get it into gear with the engine running, all gears seem to be going in but i havnt driven it . i had the rear brake pads replaced last week allso and been told that there could be an air blockage if they havnt been bled properly?any reply most welcome thanks mike |

It is likely there is something wrong with the clutch hydraulic system, probably the master cylinder. I would replace both slave and master cylinders and be done with it if either is leaking. Go to Realoem.com for the price and availability ot your parts. |
