2002 Audi A6 Air Filter for Audi A6?

Engine Performance problem
2002 Audi A6 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 42000 miles

I have a 2002 Audi A6 Quattro. The manual is no help for the air filter, it just says to see a audi dealer for replacing the air filter. I would like to know exactly where the air filter is located so I can replace myself. If you can send a picture, to my e-mail that would be great too! mad_games "at" hotmail.com Thanks.
