Coolant Radiator light on the dashboard just light up, do I need to add fluid to the reserve coolant tank or do I have to open up the radiator cap. Will adding fluid take care of the problem or should I have it checked out right away

only ever open the radiator with the system cold. Add coolant to the surge tank and get the system check for leaks as soon as you can,.
