2001 Saab 9-3 repair Question 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 46,000 miles

I recently bought this car at the maui county abandoned vehicle auction. There were no keys and I ordered one from the dealer on Oahu using the the VIN. To get the car to run, they tell me I have to replace the ignition switch, key fob, transponder, and TWICE unit, then get the car to the dealer to program the car to the new system. There's got to be an easier way. Can't I bypass the alarm system somehow?
