2001 Pontiac Sunfire track off

2001 Pontiac Sunfire 4 cyl 107750 miles

why does the track off light come on and its like my transmission starts to mess up i turn off the car and it will do it again and then i will turn off the car and restart and its okay for days then it starts again with the track off light etc.

Your car is equipped with Traction Control. This light means Traction Control is turned off.
