2001 Pontiac Grand Am system dash lights

Computer problem
2001 Pontiac Grand Am 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 177000 miles

my dash lights with service engine,abs,trac off are all on. I took to a mechanic, they replaced the abs motor but the lights are still on. The car seems to be running OK. Mechanic cannot figure out why lights will not go out.
any ideas?

Go to a shop that can scan for both "P" and "C" codes P is for the service engine light, C is the brake codes...also possible for the cluster to be defective...a good scan will point you in the right direction.
