2001 Other Nissan Models 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 89000 miles

I was told that I need to replace the Spark Pligs on my 2001 Nissan Quest. If the Spark Plugs are going bad is that a reason why the car will have trouble starting? Or will that be something else that has to be looked by a profesional mechanic. Also If I want to replace the Spark Plugs my self can anyone guide me on were there located and the steps to replace them?
