Engine Mechanical problem

I tried starting my car and it would not turn over or crank. The lights and radio turned on though. There was also no clicking sound. I have received some advice already but my question is whether there is an area of the engine in which I should look for a loose wire? I am curious as to whether it's a wire because I just picked my car up a few hours ago from the shop. My auto had a great deal of work, and they did a complete inspection following a standard oil change and this is what was done:

1. Tune Up - spark plugs, set timing/adjust timing where applicable, and replaced the Ignition Coil.

2. Fuel Induction System Cleaning - throttle body cleaning, and fuel filter change.

3. Replaced Upper and Lower Radiator Hoses, and clamps.

4. Coolant Flush.

5. New Battery

6. Power Steering Fluid Exchange

7. Replace Front and Rear Brake Pads, Resurface Rotors, and change brake fluid.

8. Replace Spark Plug Boots.

9. Neutral Safety Switch was replaced - I was only able to start it in Neutral for the last few weeks.

After I picked the car up, it ran terrifically, like new. I drove it to the store then to my house - it started perfectly fine each time. Aside from the initial inspection the shop, naturally, test drove the vehicle before and after the work. The shop is going to pay to have the car towed back to them on Monday, but I would like to avoid the inconvenience of being deprived of transportation especially if this is a 5 or 10 minute fix.

I have received suggestions that it may be the starter or alternator, these possibilities I am aware of, if for no other reason I think that's the only things that weren't replaced (j/k). Is it possible a wire came loose near a spot where they did there work; if so could I tighten it and where might I look?

I did check the cables attached to the battery, they didn't seem loose, and the passenger compartment did have power - just no cranking or turn over. I am also trying to avoid additional costs. I had so much done on the car primarily because I just got some of my school money to conduct some necessary repairs and maintenance.

Get the battery and alternator load tested if their okay. start checking the ignition switch/park and neutral switch/relay and starter.
