2001 Mercedes Benz S500 PAss Side turn signal on mirror

Electrical problem
2001 Mercedes Benz S500 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 84000 miles

Pass side mirror turn signal goes out. LED light works, but seems a bad connection. If you tap it it will work for a day or so and then off. Pulled mirror tryed to clean and put back. Same results. Trying to avoid $600 relacement mirror. Any suggestions?

besides totally disecting unit and trying to repair a bad solder joint, if you can find one, your only option is to replace the light. have you tried a salvage yard? 600 is alot of clams.
