I want to Share a Great Experience.
MY Lincon Dealer wanted $700.00 to change my Control Arm with Ball Joints.
I found a Company on EBAY Called DEUTSCHEPARTSUSA (Tel no 1 917 539 3636) who sold me the Ball Joints, Front & Rear Sway Bar Links delivered for $250.00(Both Sides) My Mechanic Put them in for $250.00 & I saved over $1000.00 on the Job.
My Car is now Brand New !
Just curious... Did you get the sway bars because you were getting a clunking/popping noise when rolling over bumps?
I've been trying to figure why it does that, the mechanics keep guessing what it is and keep rising the prices on getting it fixed and there not even sure what it is.
Sway bars usually clunk when turning corner. Ball joints and strut mounts will both clunk when cornering or bumps. If your strut mounts are bad you can find where they are mounted. Open hood or trunk you should see a thin bolt sticking up with three or four bolts around it in a circle if when you push up and down on the bumper the thin bolt moves significantly the strut mounts will make noise. by pushing up and down on bumper you may be able to locate noise also.
