Transmission problem
2001 Kia Rio 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 200000 miles

The mounts are GONE. bought 2 new ones. I know the front from the back.
There is a direction to the mounts. # 2 which is on the front of the car, drivers side and # 1 which is on the drivers side back. The rubber tabs on the mounts, do they go inside the mount supports or out. The fabrication shows that there has to be a direction. I even called a Kia tech, and they won't release the info. can you help. Thanks. Rob

The tabs are cushions to prevent the brackets from hitting the mount.

They are installed between the bracket and mount on either side, seated on the mount centre pin.
