2001 Kia Optima 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I can not open my driver side door from the inside or outside. There has been no damage done from either side. You can unlock from the outside but you can't open the door. There doesn't feel to be much tension when you pull the handle from both sides. How can I get the door open to fix it, and how do I fix to open angain.
