Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
2001 Honda Odyssey 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 200000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
hi, my van makes grinding noise while making left turn. i happened to put her on the jack stand to observe from where the noise generates. as i shifted on drive the left wheel start spinning but right wheel barely spins.
is that normal? or right axle gone bad. it does not make any noise while driving straight.
please let me know.
If you spin the right wheel by hand and it starts moving, it should be ok. If it is tight, then you need to check the brake caliper and slider bolts.
When making a turn, the wheels would be leaning a little so if the backing/cooling plates near the lower arm is too near the rotor, it would be scraping against it.
