Air Conditioning problem
2001 Ford Galaxie 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 63000 miles
MY AIR CON IS NOT BLOWING COLD AIR. I RECHARGED MY GAS AND NOW THE FANS ARE WORKING AND THE MAGNETIC CLUTCH ON THE COMPRESSOR IS ENGAGING BUT THE AIR IS STILL WARM. TODAY USING A THERMOMETER WITH AIR CON OFF IT READ 20 DEGREES C AND WITH AIR CON ON IT READ 19.6. ANY IDEA'S WOULD BE GREATLY APPREACIATED. THANKS PAUL |

Thanks for replying, I didn't vacuum the system, I used a measure and charge canistor, the guage said refil, but I only put a small amount in to put the guage in the filled area. since putting it in a few days ago the reading on the guage has only gone down slightly. Could it just be as simple as having it recharged properly or is it more likley the compressor is faulty? |
