2005 Ford Focus 38000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
About every third time i start it it blows the fuel pump fuse and continues to do so until something resets which usually takes a few hours. I have already replaced the fuel pump relay and the fuel pump itself.... any suggestions to what it might be?

This may or may not be the problem, when the fuse blows is it during cranking or after it starts and is running?

You'll have to use an ohm meter and trace the two wires shown from the PCM to the fuel pump driver module under the right rear seat, then out to the pump. One is black/white stripe the other is green/black stripe.

The PCM is on the right front at the bottom of the A pillar, at passengers feet.
