Electrical problem
1993 BMW 525 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 176000 miles
Hi guys. I left my keys in the ignition of my 1993, 525 and the following morning the car would not start. The battery is fine and turns the engine over but there is no life. It feels as if the immobiliser is active but I have locked and unlocked the car with the keys and the remote with no luck. Any ideas please?
When you start the start do you hear something in the engine? Probably you have a electrical wiring. maybe your car does not receive enough power from the battery.
Starting with the basics, is there fuel? Is there spark? Leaving the key in the ignition with the ignition on could discharge the battery, has the battery a proper charge on it? Let us know the outcome.
