Engine Cooling problem

i have a 2001 dodge ram 1500 4x4 5.9 ci
when i shut off engine i can smell anti freeze but nothing is leaking i had a cracked head replaced at 54000 miles no smell of anti freeze in exhaust none in oil or on ground resevoir goes down about every 3 months it runs at normal temp

Have you foun the solution? I am having the same problem. I have the same truck however, mine is a 1996.
