Air Conditioning problem

Last month my air starts blowing hot just out of the blue,so I checked the freon pressure with my gage and I was showing in the danger zone.It will blow cool for a couple of minutes sometimes but automatically starts blowing hot.What could it be?

too high pressure is an indication of a restriction in the system
or over charged system
evacuate the system replace orifice and recharge to spec.
