Engine Mechanical problem
2001 Dodge Intrepid 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 85000 miles

My sister was driving her car and it cut out on her. She then restart it and it start right back up. The very next day it would not start. I'm thinking it might be the fuel filter but not to sure. About 2 week before this had happen the check engine line came on and after getting it testing the code read that the fl cap was bad.

when it wont start immediately use a spark tester and check for spark, and a fuel pressure guage to check for fuel pressure.
