2001 Dodge Dakota V8 Two Wheel Drive Manual 84000 miles

I was wondering if you could please explain why the check 4w/d light has lit up the dash on my 2w/d 2001 Dodge Dakota truck? It does have a manual tranny.

That is a really good question, unfortunatly the dealer is where you may have to go for your answer.That is a warning that the electronic 4wd system isnt working properly......LOL You can try having a shop scan the PCM to see what they come up with, but this may wind up being and electrical issue
