Engine Mechanical problem
2001 Chrysler Sebring 4 cyl 74000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I've got a 2001 Chrysler Sebring 2.7 and it recently had an engine overhaul. A month after that engine was installed, my check engine light came on. I had it scanned and it gave out a cam/crank sensor code. I replaced both the crank and cam sensors with new ones. Since then, my check engine light hasn't turned on, but I have noticed that blue smoke is coming out of the exhaust pipe. I took it back to the shop and was told that the motor that was put in my car probably had more miles than the car actually has (74,000) and that it could either be the valve stem seals or the piston rings. I put in some stop-smoking fluid (looks like honey) and it seems to have gotten rid of the smoke, but as far as solving the problem? What do you think?
