Engine Mechanical problem

I have a sebring convertible. The check oil light comes on after the car is warm and at a stop light. The light goes out as soon as you take your foot off the brake and doesn't come on till the next light. This started after I had the water pump changed which is driven by the timing chain. The mechanic checked the oil pressure and changed the oil pressure sending unit but the problem still occurs. The oil pressure drops to the sending unit limits only when the car is hot and in drive with your foot on the brake, but goes to normal as soon as you drive. This only happens after driving the car for a while. It won't occur if I just start the car and let it idle on the drive way.
