Tires and Wheels problem
2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My aunt purchased a pt cruiser with 17" wheels and low profile tires. Can these wheels be replaced with 15" rims and 15" tires? She hit a crater in a road and bent two of her rims. She was told she could replace all 4 rims and tires by going to a 15" rim and tire. I just want to know if this is possible.
