Transmission problem
2001 Chrysler LHS 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 104,00 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I just did a tranny service on the car, Chrysler LHS and put in 4 1/2 quarts of transmission fluid - like the book told me to. When I check the transmission dipstick- it reads low. do not want to overfill.

Had to have the gear shift cable replaced about 3 months ago, mechanic left a note to watch the transmission dipstick.

Any ideas on why it would read low? I can't seem to find the mechanic who worked on the car..

add fluid use only ATF+3 or Chrysler tranny fluid
drive car around few min.
warm up the fluid check the dip stick and adjust
