2001 Chevy Truck 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 85000 miles

my 2001 chevy 1500, v6 85000 miles,gave me problems exacly 1 year ago,mecanic said inyector's problem,so he change all,cuple mont's the low fuel ligth shows up even whit a full tank.and today truck din't start,i din't heard the fuel pump noise,i put 4 galons of gas thinking may be out of gas,but din't help.i need help beafore i spend money buying a new fuel pump.thanks!
