Transmission problem
2001 Chevy Malibu 6 cyl Automatic 167000 miles

I have been experiencing my 2001 Chevy Malibu missing and slipping gears. Expecially when it is time to change into 2nd & 3rd gear. Then it slips real bad and the rpm hand goes up and down. I just had the transmission service and the problem is still occurring. The funny thing that I notice is that it does it in the cold weather, not so much in the hot heat. Can you please help or guide me to the correct direction????

time to have it rebuilt.
