I have a 2001 Checy Impala that has been awesome since I bought it last year. last week when I pressed the button to unlock the door the car didn't respond. I though it was the transmitter so I replaced the battery and still nothing. I took the key chain remote to autozone since they have a device that can show if your transmitter needs the battery replaced or not and it showed that the device was sending a signal. Now work has been done to the vehicle in the past month. Is theere something I need to reset in the car to have it respnd again?
