Engine Cooling problem
2001 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 70000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have a 2001 blazer that, after being driven, starts leaking coolant a few minutes after parking. The liquid is coming out between the front tires and when I look under I can't see where it's leaking from. The dash display never shows the engine heating up. A friend told me it was the head gasket, and someone else said it was the thermostat stuck in the open position. Any ideas? Can it be a quick fix I can do, or am I gonna have to bite the bullet and take it in?

Could be the common intake gasket problem. What does the oil look like? It isn't a hard job IF you pay attention to the book and buy the new version of the gaskets.
