Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
2001 Buick Park Avenue 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 113000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
2001 Park Ave, 113000K miles. Tires new 10K ago, tread is good. Today while driving at 65 mph, I heard a sound similar to the sound off-road tires on my pickup make while driving on a freeway. I heard a high pitched whine or hum. Not related to RPMs but related to speed and definitely not the tires. I have noticed in the past that the front of the car smells 'hot' when I park it in the driveway. The front hubs were replaced with the tires. Car runs smoothly otherwise. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

No, brakes seem fine. The car has no adverse handling effects, no warning lights, drives just iike it always has except for this new noise. I tried opening various windows in various combinations to see if I could determine where the noise is coming from. but all I can say is it seems to happen over 40 mph. This a road I drive everyday, still geting the same mileage that I always do. I appeciate the help.
