2001 Buick Park Avenue 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 109000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
My vehice's fuel guage is acting erratically, going from empty to full, back and forth. According to the mechanic the sensor is bad and needs replacement. He claims however that the sensor is not available as a separate unit and comes only with the fuel pump asssembly! Is this correct?
