as the guy listed above when i smash the brakes hard, the rpm drops and the car dies PLS help car in shop now at $130 an hour

I am not sure I understand what the problem is, do you mean the engine dies when you are braking? Is the check engine light on? When did this start to occur and how long has it been going on?
