Electrical problem
2001 Acura RL 6 cyl Automatic 106150 miles

I took my car to the dealer had an oil change left the dealer and in the middle of the expressway engine light turned on and car started slowing down and completely died. We changed the fuel pump as when they sprayed eter in the hose it does turn on they stop spraying eter and it turns off. My brother thinks maybe the fuel relay is bad. Could you please tell me what you think and also where is the fuel relay located in my car. Thank you

fuel pump relay is in the trunk, next to the fuel sending unit. it's the black one on the left.
i would like to know what the check engine light is for, if you find out please let me know
