Brakes problem
2000 Volkswagen Jetta 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 90000 miles

Is there anything special about changing the rear rotors on a 2000 VW Jetta? I know it has ABS but other than that I would think it to be the same as any other car. Or am I mistaken?

yep pretty much routine stuff

Remove the wheels.
Unbolt the caliper and suspend it aside with a piece of wire. Do NOT disconnect the fluid line, or let the caliper hang by the fluid line!
Remove the screws securing the disc (rotor) to the wheel hub, then remove the disc (rotor).
Installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten the disc (rotor) securing screw to 35 inch lbs. (4 Nm).
