Hey Guys,

I have just recently purchased the above vehicle and need some help with a problem. I am somewhat familiar with Subura because this makes my 3rd one. I have noticed that intermittently the brake and battery light come on and blink a few times and then goes out . The alternator appears to be charging fine and it doesn't effect the performance of the car. It is almost like a loose connection because of the way it blinks on and off. Also another question I have is that the 2 subarus that I own now have the same tapping lifter noise . I talked to repair shop and they told me that it is quite common for the 4cyl with over a 150k to make this noise that most of them do. Is this something that can be adjusted or just the way it is.
