2000 Pontiac Firebird po 410 trouble code

2000 Pontiac Firebird V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 2000 pontiac trans am that the service engine light keeps coming on. The code is po410, it says it is the secondary air injection. What does this do, what do i do to repair it?

it levels out the O2 reading durning start up. You will have to have the secondary air pump check and see if it is turning on. You can check and see if the fuse is ok, but it takes a tech 2 from your local dealer to turn the pump on to see if it is working.
