2000 Other Saturn Models My Cooling Fan Doesn't Operate Unde

Engine Cooling problem
2000 Other Saturn Models 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 130,00 miles

Fan does not come on when engine is at operating temp. If I turn on A/C control the fan comes on. No codes from the PCM. Temp gage works fine.

Check the coolant temperature sensor or the coolant temperature guage sending unit/Relay/computer control of fan relay

The cooling fan will not turn on until you have reached the 3/4 mark on the thermostat. The fan comes on automatically when the air conditioner comes on to prevent the A/C from overheating the system.
