2000 Other Chrysler Models V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 80,000 miles

oil pressure indicater light is on, oil level is fine, what else can I check?

The oil pressure, unscrew the sending unit, screw in a test gauge take the reading...warm engine should have 5-10 psi...Lower pressure indicates engine wear or bad pump!
