My Chevy Tracker started stalling after it warmed up and I was stuck in stop and go traffic. Once it cools down it starts right up. It runs quiet and smooth until it stalls. It would not stall as long as the car was moving and not in stop and go traffic.
A man I know had a computer reader and hooked it up and he said it showed a defective crankshaft alignment sensor.
I am a fair shade-tree mechanic and would like to know if it is possible to replace the part without using a lift or removing the engine.
Also, where is it located on the engine?
I called a dealer and asked but they said they can't give out that information.
ANY TRACKER WIZARDS OUT THERE?
