Electrical problem
2000 Nissan Pathfinder 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic
The drivers side wiper has stopped working. When they are turned off, the wiper on the passenger's side is held in place, but the wiper on the driver's side moves freely. I can also hear the linkage moving when the motor shaft is turned.
*Update* - I did check the problem out, and it was just a worn out joint. I replaced the drivers side linkage arm, and I have not had a problem since.
There is also an issue with the rear wiper, although it's not quite as critical. When I set it to intermittent, it will sometimes stop at random positions, and move only a few inches at each interval. I suspect this may be a problem with the motor, but I am not entirely certain. The service manual suggests checking the grounds coming from the motor. I'm hoping it's just a dirty connection. |
